Spunweb Nonwoven IPO description – Spunweb Nonwoven, along with its wholly owned subsidiary Spunweb India (SIPL), is one of India’s largest manufacturers of polypropylene spunbond nonwoven fabrics, with a combined installed production capacity of 32,640 MTPA as of FY24. The company’s product range includes hydrophobic, hydrophilic, super soft, UV-treated, antistatic, and FR treated nonwoven fabrics, offered in widths of 1.6m, 2.6m, and 3.2m and GSM ranging from 7 to 150.
Spunweb serves over 500 domestic and 20 international customers across sectors such as hygiene, healthcare, packaging, agriculture, and construction. Key customers include RGI Meditech, Millennium Babycares, and Poligof Micro Hygiene. Spunweb operates two facilities in Rajkot, Gujarat, with five production lines across both units.
The company’s FY24 domestic and international capacity utilization stood at 52.83% and 27.20%, respectively. Exports accounted for 13.47% of revenue during the nine months ended 31 December 2024. Sustainability is core to operations, with rooftop solar plants (1.1 MW and 0.43 MW) supplying 11.77% and 6.45% of the energy needs of the parent company and SIPL, respectively. The company workforce of 177 employees as of December 2024.
