Alcobrew Distilleries IPO Description – Alcobrew Distilleries is an Indian IMFL manufacturer with a diversified presence across whisky, vodka, rum, brandy and gin, operating predominantly in the prestige and above segments. Incorporated in 2002, it commenced operations with third-party bottling in Punjab and has since evolved into an integrated manufacturer and marketer with owned distillation and bottling capabilities. As of 31 March 2025, the company operates two strategically located facilities—Dera Bassi, Punjab (4.62 million cases p.a.) and Gamber Valley, Himachal Pradesh (0.60 million cases p.a. bottling and 0.90 million litres p.a. distillation)—taking total bottling capacity to 6.40 million cases per annum.
The portfolio comprises over 13 brands, led by flagship labels such as White & Blue Whisky, Golfer’s Shot Whisky and Old Smuggler (under licensing arrangement with Davide Campari Milano N.V.). Whisky remains the core category, contributing 76.5% of sales volume in FY25. The company reported total sales volumes of 4.34 million cases in FY25, with a 3.79% market share in North India’s whisky market and 11.02% share in Delhi by volume.
The company benefits from a pan-India distribution footprint across multiple regulatory models and the CSD channel, supported by strong brand investments and a focused premiumisation strategy, including expansion into luxury and single malt categories. As of 31 August 2025, the company had 299 permanent employees.
