Freshara Agro Exports IPO description – Freshara Agro specializes in the procurement, processing, and export of preserved gherkins and other pickled products from India to various countries worldwide. The company sources its produce directly from accredited farms, entering into buy-back agreements with farmers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and parts of Andhra Pradesh. It also provides them with the necessary sowing materials.
As of 31 March 2024, the company processes and exports pickled vegetables in 3 different packaging categories. The details of the 3 packaging categories: Industrial packaging in food grade drums and pails; Food packaging in plastic buckets and tin cans; and Retail packaging in glass jars and tin cans.
Freshara Agro’s product range includes pickled gherkins, jalapeños, baby corn, banderillas, chilies, bell peppers, and mixed vegetables. These are packaged in food-grade drums, glass jars, and metal tins, ensuring quality and safety as processed products. For the fiscal year 2024, the company has an installed capacity of 29,200 MT per annum, with 21,756 MT currently being utilized. As of 31 March 2024, Freshara Agro employs 63 full-time staff.
