Raksan Transformers IPO Description – Incorporated in 1995, Raksan Transformers Solutions engaged in the manufacturing of transformers across various voltage ratings. The company specializes in the production of distribution transformers, power transformers, transformers for solar applications, and special-purpose transformers, catering to the transmission and distribution requirements of diverse sectors. Initially focused on the repair and servicing of transformers.
The company ventured into full-scale manufacturing in 2005–06 by establishing its first manufacturing unit at District Sonepat, Haryana. To meet increasing market demand, a second manufacturing facility was later commissioned at HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Rai, District Sonepat. Collectively, these facilities span approximately 3,037.5 sq. meters with an installed production capacity of around 13,50,000 KVA (kilo-volt-amperes) for distribution transformers and 1,350 MVA for power transformers as of 31 March 2025.
Raksan Transformers serves over 20 clients, including power distribution corporations, public utilities, and EPC contractors. As of 30 June 2025, the company has a total of 143 full-time employees.
