
NSE Unlisted Share Price Description – The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is the largest in India, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is the largest derivatives exchange in the world in terms of volume of contracts traded, as per the Futures Industry Association. In 2021, NSE was ranked 4th globally for cash equities in terms of the number of trades as per the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

Cash Market: In the cash market segment, NSE offers a platform to trade equity shares, mutual funds, ETFs, REITs, InvITs, Sovereign Gold bonds (SGB), government securities, and treasury bills to domestic and foreign investors.
Debt: NSE facilitates trading in corporate bonds, govt securities, commercial paper, and convertible and non-convertible debt instruments for domestic and foreign investors.
Derivatives: In the derivatives segment, NSE trades equity derivatives (index and equity derivatives), currency derivatives, interest rate derivatives, and commodity derivatives (including agricultural and non-agricultural derivatives) to domestic and foreign investors.
Data and Information Vending: NSE provides real-time data feed, EOD data, historical trade data, corporate data, bond valuation, and indicative NAV for ETFs to various data vendors, media houses, financial websites, and software developers.

- FY26 witnessed record-breaking activity with total fund mobilisation reaching INR 20.3 lakh crore. Equity IPOs alone contributed a historic INR 1.8 lakh crore, marking the highest annual mobilisation on record for the exchange.
- The unique registered investor base hit a massive milestone of ~13 crore, covering 99.9% of Indian PIN codes. This growth is complemented by the SME platform (NSE EMERGE), which surpassed the 700-listing mark during the fiscal year.
- NSE remains a vital pillar of the Indian economy, contributing a staggering INR 59,186 crore to the National Exchequer in FY26 through Securities Transaction Tax (STT), Stamp Duty, GST, and Income Tax.
