Pratik Panels is engaged in the trading of greige fabrics in the domestic market, primarily catering to wholesalers, retailers, and processing units operating in the curtain and home furnishing segment. Greige fabric refers to unfinished woven fabric that undergoes further processing such as dyeing, printing, embroidery, and finishing before reaching end consumers. The company currently sources greige fabrics from third-party weaving units and supplies them based on customer-specific design, texture, and volume requirements.
To strengthen its market position, the company is planning to expand into manufacturing by establishing a weaving facility for greige curtain fabrics. The proposed unit will manufacture cotton, polyester, and blended greige fabrics, including jacquard grey fabric, dobby fabric, patterned weave fabric, and plain grey fabric. The expansion is expected to improve supply chain efficiency, enhance quality control, and support better margin management. Post expansion, the company intends to operate under a dual business model comprising fabric trading and in-house manufacturing.
