Vodafone Idea FPO Description – The company is a leading telecommunications operator in India, providing a wide range of services including voice, data, enterprise solutions, and various Value-Added Services (VAS) such as Short Messaging Services, Digital Services, and IoT. As of 31 December 2023, the company boasted over 223.0 million subscribers, capturing a subscriber market share of 19.3%. Its network facilitated the transmission of 401 billion voice minutes and 6,004 billion megabytes of data.

As of 31 December 2023, the Vodafone group serves more than 300 million customers across 17 countries, delivering both mobile and fixed services. Furthermore, it maintains partnerships with mobile networks in 45 additional countries. Notably, the Vodafone group hosts one of the globe’s largest Internet of Things (IoT) platforms.

As of 31 December 2023, the company boasted around 183,400 unique tower locations and over 438,900 broadband (3G and 4G) sites, with all its 4G sites equipped to offer voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) services. The population coverage surpassed 1.2 billion individuals, while the Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network extended over 298,000 kilometers, comprising both proprietary infrastructure and Indefeasible Rights of Use (IRU) agreements (excluding duplications).

The mobile network extends its reach to numerous communities across over 487,000 towns and villages in India, providing broadband services in more than 342,200 towns and villages, as of 31 December 2023.
